Would you like to have a cultural experience so rich, unique and immersive that National Geographic will be there documenting the event?

This is the Mount Hagen Show and we have created a tour where we have thought of everything so you can enjoy the spectacle.

Dates for the Mount Hagen Show in 2026 are the 13th till the 16th of August.
Places for this tour are extremely limited, so booking ahead is highly recommended.

Your tour starts on the Wednesday before the show starts in Port Moresby Papua New Guinea. You can fly into Port Moresby direct from the following countries:

Australia
China
Singapore
Phillipines

We can book you on a suitable international flight as part of your tour or you can organise to get yourself to Port Moresby on the Wednesday beforehand.

Your tour completes on the Monday after the Mount Hagen show, in Port Moresby Papua New Guinea.

The Wednesday the 12th before the show:
You arrive in Port Moresby and we will take you to your 5 start hotel to stay the night and prepare to travel to Mount Hagen the next day.
On Thursday the 13th:
You will eat breakfast if your flight time allows it.
We will take you to the Port Moresby Domestic Terminal and you will fly to Mount Hagen.
You will stay the night in your hotel at Mount Hagen and get prepared for your first day at the Mount Hagen show the next day.
On Friday the 14th:
You will eat breakfast
You will then be taken for your first day at the Mount Hagen Show
On Friday night you will have dinner then stay your hotel and get prepared for your second day at the Mount Hagen Show.
On Saturday the 15th:
You will eat breakfast
You will then be taken for your second day at the Mount Hagen Show
On Saturday night you will have dinner then stay your hotel and get prepared for your second day at the Mount Hagen Show.
On Sunday the 16th:
You will eat breakfast at your hotel.
Then you will be taken to Mount Hagen Airport and will fly back to Port Moresby
That night you will stay the night at a 5 star hotel in Port Moresby
On Monday the 17th:
You will eat breakfast at your hotel
Your tour finishes around 10am at checkout time.
You can fly home or take off on your next adventure in Papua New Guinea.

Prices

The price for this tour increases as it gets closer to the Enga Show because airlines and accommodation providers increase their prices. Booking early is highly recommended.

$6,500 per person single share

To get the twin share price, you must book and pay for two people at the same time and sleep together in the same accommodation.

How to pay

All prices on our website are in Australian dollars. If you would like to go on a tour, you can purchase it from our website immediately and pay using most major credit cards. If you would prefer not to use credit card, you can transfer us Australian dollars.

If you would like to pay in Papua New Guinean Kina, you can transfer the equivalent amount in Kina to our bank account in Papua New Guinea. Please contact us so we can tell you the amount of Kina you should transfer and our bank account details.
