Overadobu Waterfalls Day Trip

This adventurous day trip takes you deep into the Sogeri Highlands and across the scenic Sirinumu Dam. The journey itself is part of the experience, combining road travel, a boat ride, and a forest hike before reaching the waterfalls.

Travel 1 hour on sealed road, followed by 30 minutes on a bumpy Sirinumu Dam road, then enjoy a 40-minute boat ride across the dam. From the drop-off point, a 35-minute hike (one way) leads you to the beautiful Overadobu Waterfalls.

Recommended for all ages, this experience rewards you with flowing cascades, cool waters for swimming, and a peaceful natural setting perfect for relaxing.

Itinerary

7:30–8:00 AM – Pick-up from Port Moresby (central location)
Travel to Sirinumu Dam via sealed and dirt roads.

Mid-Morning – Boat ride on Sirinumu Dam
Enjoy a scenic 40-minute boat ride.
Late Morning – Guided hike to Overadobu Waterfalls
35-minute walk (one way) through forest trails.

Midday – Early Afternoon
Swim, relax, take photos, and enjoy your own packed lunch at the waterfalls.
Early Afternoon – Return hike & boat ride
Travel back via the same route.
3:30–4:30 PM – Return to Port Moresby

The price for this tour is $150 per person up to 5 people.
For 5 or more people, you pay just $100 more per person.
For 12 or more people, you pay just $75 more per person.

All prices on our website are in Australian dollars. If you would like to go on a tour, you can purchase it from our website immediately and pay using most major credit cards. If you would prefer not to use credit card, you can transfer us Australian dollars.

If you would like to pay in Papua New Guinean Kina, you can transfer the equivalent amount in Kina to our bank account in Papua New Guinea. Please contact us so we can tell you the amount of Kina you should transfer and our bank account details.
