This is an overnight adventure at Ruth's, a remote island in the Bismarck Sea which is owned by Ruth and her family. This tour has a minimum 3 night stay.
This tour is for those who want to experience an exclusive glamping adventure on a remote tropical island only accessible by boat or helicopter. This is by far the most glamorous accommodation within 1.5 hours travel in any direction. By local standards, this accommodation is 6 star. This location is available exclusively to Laikim PNG customers. This tour heavily supports the local community from a monetary and infrastructure perspective.

Itinerary
Your day will start at 9am where we pick you up from your accommodation in Kavieng or from the airport.
Ruth's is 1.5 hour boat ride from Kavieng, you will arrive at approx 10.30am. The 1.5 hours in the boat is an incredibly interesting and sight packed adventure going past many islands and villages.
Once you arrive at Ruth's at 10.30am, you will get checked in to your accommodation and get acquainted with your surroundings.
From there, the activities are up to you. You will be the only tourists for hours in any direction.
The number of nights you stay is up to you.
Inclusions
- Boat transfers between Ruth's and Kavieng and back.

We supply tea, coffee, water and fresh coconut juice. Alcohol and sodas are not included. If you want alcohol or soda, they must be ordered ahead of time.
- Breakfast is usually a continental breakfast, fruits, breads, pastry, coffee and tea.
- Lunch is usually salads, gourmet sandwiches and fruits.
- Dinner is usually seafood (fish, lobster or crab), salads and baked/steamed local vegetables.
- Snacks are fruit.
- Other food options are available on request.

While you are at Ruth's you can swim, snorkel and adventure around the islands surrounding Ruth's. You can also go fishing, both bottom fishing and trolling on the reefs around the islands.
Please bring your swimmers, snorkels and fishing rods.
The only things to spend money on at Ruth's is local crafts or donations to local causes.

How to pay
All prices on our website are in Australian dollars. If you would like to go on a tour, you can purchase it from our website immediately and pay using most major credit cards. If you would prefer not to use credit card, you can transfer us Australian dollars. If you would like to pay in Papua New Guinean Kina, you can transfer the equivalent amount in Kina to our bank account in Papua New Guinea. Please contact us so we can tell you the amount of Kina you should transfer and our bank account details.

Combining Tours
If you would like to have more adventures while you are in Papua New Guinea, we have tours to suit many different interests, tastes and adventures. For day tours, you can get up to 20% discount on subsequent tours taken on the same day. Not all day tours can be combined.
